Youth For The Environment Day

Today is Earth Day. It is also the Youth For the Environment Day (YED).The theme for this year is 'The Face of Climate Change'. This theme was chosen because of the need to highlight the mounting impact of climate change on individuals around the world. To commemorate this day in school, all pupils and staff are to make a pledge on how they can help save our Mother Earth.

Earth Day's Celebrations

We commemorated Earth's Day on last Friday, 12 April 2013, together with the International Friendship Day. There was a slide presentation during assembly where the message of Earth Day and what our neighbouring countries are doing to help save our Mother Earth was shared. Our club's Earth Day booth was also set up during recesses, with exhibits and quiz for the pupils. An Earth mascot was also present to share the message with the pupils.
